Toyota confirms GR Yaris Rallye pricing

Toyota’s special-edition GR Yaris Rallye performance car will be launched in Australia in March with an introductory offer of $56,200 driveaway.

That introductory offer price will apply to the first 200 cars, after which the price will move to the official recommended retail price of $54,500 plus on-road costs.

GR Yaris Rallye builds on the recently released 200kW GR Yaris, with the special-edition model equipped with upgrades that make it a pretty formidable performance package.

It features circuit-tuned suspension, Torsen limited-slip differentials on the front and rear axles and 18-inch BBS forged alloy wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres.

Power will come from the 200kW/370Nm 1,6-litre turbocharged three-cylinder engine carried over from the GR Yaris model, as is the all-wheel-drive system and six-speed manual gearbox.

Toyota has also confirmed that any future stock of GR Yaris, potentially arriving in the second half of 2021, will be priced at the recommended retail price of $49,500 plus on road costs.
