Regional Community Forums

The Regional Community Forums (the Forums) will bring locals, regional stakeholders and government representatives together each quarter to discuss local priorities and opportunities, and consider what outcomes are most important to the community.

The resulting conversations from the Forums will help to create and support regionally focused programs delivered with the community in mind.

Forums will be held in seven regions:

  • Far North Queensland
  • North Queensland
  • Mackay/Whitsundays
  • Western Queensland
  • Central Queensland
  • Wide Bay/Fraser Coast
  • Darling Downs South West Queensland.

Meeting locations within the regions will change each quarter.

Applications from community members to be a part of the Forums will be sought through an open Expression of Interest process.

Applications are now open and close on 20 September 2019.
