RECALL: 2007-16 MERCEDES-BENZ SPRINTER TAKATA RECALL INITIATED
Mercedes-Benz has initiated its Takata recall for the Sprinter. This will require both driver and passenger inflators replaced.
The recall will affect a total of 2559 vans for passenger airbag replacements, with an additional 3059 on the list for driver inflator replacements .
Mercedes will contact consumers, and urge them to book in affected vehicles to the nearest dealer for a free replacement inflator.
Consumers are reminded they can check if their vehicle needs a new inflator at www.IsMyAirbagSafe.com.au.
