In 2018 MTA Queensland introduced the Member Portal, a new online space to easily access exclusive member-only resources, shop products and a list of current MTA Queensland members.

Accessible from the MTA Queensland website, members can choose between three easily located orange buttons; Find a Member, Member Portal & Visit the Shop.

To access any of the resources in the Member Portal you need to Sign In with your Username and Password from the top right of the screen. MTA Queensland financial members are sent an email at the beginning of their membership which contains detailed instructions on how to sign into the Member Portal for the first time. If you are a financial member with MTA Queensland and have not signed in to the Member Portal before, check your inbox for a Member Portal Invitation Code. If you do not have an invitation code, you will need to contact Member Services on (07) 3237 8777 or email info@mtaq.com.au to be sent an Invitation to Join the Portal. This is an important first step. You will not be able to access any member-only resources without being issued an Invitation Code. The Username is the original primary email address you used for your MTA Queensland membership application.

Find A Member

All MTA Queensland members are listed in the ‘Find A Member’ database. Consumers can find and choose to use members, knowing they are committed to the highest of industry standards set by MTA Queensland and the Professional Circle. Consumers can find member businesses and can search easily by location, trading name or the type of business they are looking for.

Visit the Shop

The MTA Queensland Shop is an online space full of industry specific products such as job cards, key tags, signs, stationery and workshop products. To access the Shop, users can click ‘Visit the Shop’. Shop products can be filtered through product type, or by searching for the product specifically. To receive the member-only discounts available in the shop, MTA Queensland members are required to login.

Member Portal

The most important component to the Member Portal is the extensive library of member-only content which can be accessed by clicking the ‘Member Portal’ button on the homepage. MTA Queensland members can sign in or register from the top right-hand corner to view this content.

Navigation through the member-only content can be done through the following options:

• Front-page buttons;
• Click on ‘Knowledge Dashboard’ under the ‘Support’ main menu heading; or
• Type in a keyword in the search bar.

For ease, resources have been split into the following categories:

• Corporate Partners;
• Divisional Resources & Elections;
• Industrial Relations – Awards, Guides, Job Descriptions, Policies, Templates, Legislation;
• Industrial Relations Articles;
• Industry Insights;
• Marketing Resources – Logos;
• Public Holidays & Trading Hours;
• Service & Repair Information;
• Tax & Super Newsletters & Tax Tables;
• Wages Guides & Facts Sheets; and
• Workplace Health & Safety

Members can simply click on the button they are interested in to view the sub-menus of content, or search for something specific on the search bar.
