How long has your business been operating?

14 years.

What sets your business apart from your competitors?

We have mainly specialised in all aspects of the Honda CT110. We are serious in what we do. It’s not a job, it’s a lifestyle with commitment and passion, and we get a lot of satisfaction in helping our customers. Although we are only a small business, we have over 120 years experience between us with various types of motorcycles and motorcycling. It’s not unusual for us to work on a motorcycle that other motorcycle shops have refused to look at. We go out of our way to satisfy all our customers whether it be advice, sales or service.

Do you utilise innovation or technology in your workplace?

While we are old-school tech with CT110s and classic bikes, we use up-to-date computer equipment for fuel-injected Urals.

Do you have ways of supporting your community?

For many years we have supported many fundraisers/charity events – the latest being giving away motorcycle tyres if people make a $28.00, $50.00 or $100.00 donation to any a Fire and Rescue Service or to Animal Aid. We have also participated in work experience programs for students.

Do you have any business achievements (or people) you are particularly proud of and why?

One Ten has a new (our own) sidecar under development. We have had several successes with our Postie Bikes. We assisted a rider (Nathan Millward) who bought a Postie Bike from us and rode back to the UK on his own and made it, and many of our Postie Bikes have travelled overseas and throughout and around Australia. Our latest achievement saw a local grandfather, Bob Dibble, buy one of our Postie Bikes, have a sidecar fitted, and then travel for 18 months around the world and make it with no major breakdowns. The bike is now here at our shop on display.

One Ten Motorcycles started in 2006. At that time we specialised only in the Honda CT110, which was specially made for Australia Post, but we have since diversified into sidecars, Urals and classic bikes.
