MTA Queensland celebrates finalist success at Lord Mayor Business Awards

On Friday the 18th of October, the Motor Trades Association of Queensland (MTA Queensland) attended the 2019 Lord Mayor’s Business Awards after being nominated as a finalist in the category of Australia Pacific LNG Award for Business Innovation. 

Now in their 14th year, the Lord Mayor’s Business Awards acknowledge the contribution of businesses and individuals to Brisbane’s economy and the city’s profile as a vibrant centre of innovation and enterprise. 

Dr Brett Dale, Group Chief Executive said, “To be named a finalist for such a prestigious award and be recognised for our innovative initiative is something to be proud of.” 

“This recognition confirms MTA Queensland’s position as an industry leader in innovation, a title we will continue to strive to represent. 

“We remain committed to driving opportunities for industry, supporting existing business to transform their business models and ensuring our members are supported through this time of major disruption.” 

Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner recognised the achievements of all finalists and their commitment to growing the city. 

“I congratulate all winners and finalists of the 2019 Lord Mayor’s Business Awards and thank them for helping to grow our city’s $171 billion economy,” said Cr Schrinner. 

MTA Queensland would like to extend their congratulations to Nightlife Music for winning the Australia Pacific LNG Award for Business Innovation, as well as to all other category nominees for their commitment to innovative excellence.
