Melbourne to host flagship Pirelli P Zero World store

Pirelli have opened their first P Zero World store in the Southern Hemisphere in the city of Melbourne.

Designed to showcase the best of the Pirelli brand, the store is the fifth of its kind around the world.

Popularly known as a prestige tyre brand, the store will also stock motorbike and pushbike rubber, as well as its ‘Pirelli Design’ gear and apparel.

The store will additionally serve as a tyre shop, with five workshop bays and the full range of Pirelli tyres available.

Following the growing trend of automotive businesses offering a shopping experience rather than just the standard store, Pirelli is pitching P Zero world as a location where exotic and luxury car owners can come to have their vehicles taken care of with the prestige products offered by the tyre brand.

This is according to Pirelli North-East Asia and Pacific CCO, Dimitris Papadakos, who said the store aims to cater to the expectations of luxury car users.

“We are focused on prestige and premium tyres,” said Papadakos.

“We are preparing something similar to the expectations to the users of these cars. So let’s say the owner of Lamborghini, Ferrari, Bugatti, Pagani, they’re going to find a place similar to the expectations according to the car they have.”

The location of the store also fits the aim of providing luxury service to luxury cars.

Of the 5,000 prestige vehicles to be registered in Australia this year, the highest number were found to reside in Melbourne.

The Melbourne store joins Los Angeles, Monaco, Munich and Dubai as locations for the prestigious brands shopping experience  around the world.
