Isuzu recalls over 8,000 Tradepack Trucks due to side reflector issue

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission has issued a recall for Isuzu Tradepack NLR, NNR and NPR Series Trucks sold between 2005 to 2019, due to a side reflector issue.

There are a total of 8,023 affected vehicles, that have “not been fitted with a sufficient quantity of side reflectors as required under Australian Design Rule 13/00.”

According to the recall notice, the affected vehicles “may have impaired side visibility under low light conditions, creating the risk of side impact and increasing the risk of injury or death to the vehicle occupants and/or other road users.”

To check if your vehicle is affected, view the VIN list here.

Owners of affected vehicles should contact their local Isuzu dealer to have the missing reflectors fitted to the vehicle.
