Haval Jolion SUV Launch Editions Land in Australia

Haval’s all-new Jolion LE (Launch Edition) SUV arrived in Australia in April and will be available in two grades initially – the mid-grade Lux and range-topping Ultra. The Launch Edition models will be limited to a total of 300 units and are priced at $27,990 driveaway for the mid-spec Jolion Lux LE and $30,990 driveaway for the range-topping Ultra LE.

Power for both models is delivered to the front wheels by a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine with 110kW of power and 210Nm of torque mated to a 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT). Four drive modes are available on demand – Standard, Eco, Sport and Snow.

With a wheelbase of 2700mm, length of 4472mm and width of 1841mm, the Jolion is a sizeable SUV for the money and the technology on offer is plentiful.

The Lux LE sits on 17-inch alloy wheel and its spec list includes a 10.25-inch colour multimedia touchscreen, 7-inch LCD instrument display, Dual zone automatic climate control, roof rails, Apple CarPlay, Electronic anti-glare rear view mirror, and 360-degree camera. Advanced driver assist features include Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) with pedestrian and bicycle detection, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keep Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Traffic Sign Recognition, Lane

Change Assist / Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), and Camera-based Driver Fatigue Monitoring system.

Step up to the Ultra LE model and you get 18-inch alloys and can add a panoramic sunroof, a 12.3-inch colour multimedia touchscreen, wireless charging, and a Head-Up Display.

That’s a pretty solid list of high-quality features and makes the Jolion look like crackingly good value.
All models come with a 7-year, unlimited km warranty and 5 years roadside assist.
