H6 GT Range Reaches Haval Dealers

Haval H6 GT

The new Haval H6 GT range has begun arriving in Australia.

The sportier, premium, GT range will consist of two grades: the H6 GT Lux (2WD) and the H6 GT Ultra (4WD).

Built on the same platform that also underpins the regular Haval H6 and the Jolion, the new H6 GT is powered by a 2-litre petrol engine that delivers 150kW of power and 320Nm of torque and is mated to a 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission and an active exhaust booster.

Fuel economy is rated at 7.5 litres per 100km for the 2WD H6 GT Lux and 8.4 litres per 100km for the 4WD H6 GT Ultra using 91 octane unleaded fuel.

Equipment includes Comfort-Tek eco-leather seats, 10.25-inch colour LED instrument cluster and multimedia touchscreen (the Ultra gets a 12.3-inch multimedia touchscreen), Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 8-speaker DTS audio, electric tailgate, 19-inch black alloy wheels, 360-degree camera and a comprehensive suite of safety features. Those include Autonomous Emergency Braking with pedestrian, bicycle and crossroad detection; Forward Collision Warning; Lane Departure Warning; Lane Keep Assist; Emergency Lane Keep; Traffic Sign Recognition; Lane Change Assist with Blind Spot Monitoring; Driver Drowsiness Detection; 360-degree camera; Tyre Pressure Monitoring and much more.

The H6 GT Ultra gets additional features, including 4WD with multi-modes (Normal, Eco, Sport, Snow, All-Terrain Response System), Heads Up Display, Wireless phone charging, Electric tailgate with hands-free opening function, Panoramic sunroof, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert with braking amongst a host of others.

GWM Haval says it expects the H6 GT could add as many as 400 units a month to GWM’s sales tally – a number which would help it reach a new annual sales record by the end of the year.

The H6 GT Lux model is priced at $40,990 Driveaway, while the H6 GT Ultra 4WD comes in at $46,490 Driveaway.
