Franchise dealers vote on Australia’s most satisfactory brand

The votes are in, and Australian dealers agree that Mazda and Toyota are their favourite manufacturer partners in 2018.

The survey included 24 participating brands represented by 1,603 dealer principals, conducted over a four-week period in August 2018.

With 108 franchises, Mazda Australia takes the lead, voted by the nation’s dealer principals as the most satisfactory brand in overall performance, averaging 8.7 out of ten.

The 2018 Dealer Satisfaction Survey revealed the brands voted below the total average of 6.4 out of 10 in overall performance satisfaction were Chrysler Jeep Dodge, Holden, Fiat Alfa Romeo, Peugeot, Nissan, Jaguar, Hyundai, Land Rover and Infiniti.

Behind Mazda and Toyota in the lead, voted in third place was Kia with Volvo fourth, followed by Skoda and Subaru.

Fiat Alfa Romeo came in second last to Chrysler Jeep Dodge on 4.4 out of 10 for service department support. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Australia spokesperson says, “The dealer survey is a way for us to receive open feedback from our dealer partners.

“We use the feedback as a way for continuous improvement and have already had multiple meetings with our dealers and national dealer council to discuss process changes.”
