Chair Paul Peterson, Quarterly Update April – June 2022

This past quarter has been a very exciting one, starting with the launch of our new wide-ranging marketing campaign to remind consumers that using the services of an MTA Queensland member business is the best choice when it comes to meeting their automotive needs.

From social media to hardcopy, digital newspapers and major publications, MTA Queensland spread the message far and wide, including meeting with members of the public at several trade shows including RACQ’s Motorfest.

The campaign has received, and continues to see, great support from our member businesses, who have displayed the MTA Queensland logo throughout their workplace – on their website, shop façade, and swooper flags.

Logos and graphics can be accessed and downloaded from the member portal HERE, as well as posters that remind the public that dealing with a member business means they won’t get ‘taken for a ride.’

Alongside our consumer campaign, MTA Queensland has been working hard to offer new and enhanced benefits for member businesses. We have introduced a new workplace health and safety audit, workplace relations consultation, insurance review, EFTPOS comparison and energy audit.

These instant-value benefits come in addition to our already existing benefits, which include unlimited workplace relations support, industry representation to government, skills extension and training, as well as events and programs. Members can view our full range of benefits HERE.

Finally, tickets to our upcoming one-day innovation symposium Carmageddon are now available and selling fast!

To be held on Thurs, 28 July 2022, this year’s program is full of engaging panels and keynotes relevant to our member businesses. In-depth discussions will be had on Service Stations of the Future, the Automotive Workforce Crisis, the Future Dealership Business Model, and more! View the program and purchase tickets HERE.

I hope to see you all in attendance!

Until next time, take care and stay safe.
