Bridgestone to unveil innovative fleet solution at the Brisbane Truck Show

Bridgestone and Bandag have announced a new commercial fleet solution to be on display at this year’s Brisbane Truck Show.

The new technology promises to enhance Total Tyre Management commercial offerings and will serve as an exhibit centrepiece .

“Bridgestone Australia and New Zealand has been continually evolving its commercial solutions over the past few years, and we’re excited to be able to launch a new offering at the Brisbane Truck Show,” says Bridgestone Australia and New Zealand managing director, Stephen Roche.

“There’s no denying the importance technology is playing in the trucking industry, evidenced in part by the rise of telematics and significant advancements to safety systems that manufacturers have developed.

“Our stand at the Brisbane Truck Show will showcase our own business solutions technology”, Roche says.

In addition to the latest and greatest fleet developments, Bridgestones exhibit will feature a solar care as part of the World Solar Challenge entrants.

“Contrary to belief, there is a strong link between Bridgestone’s global partnership with the World Solar Challenge event, and the trucking industry,” Roche says.

“The low-rolling resistance technology developed for solar car tyres has direct impact on the development of the fuel-saving Ecopia truck tyres that so many customers have come to depend on.”

Bridgestone  will also have a team of representatives on hand to discuss the Total Tyre Management offering and other innovative service offerings.
