10 Apr 2018 – The Senate Parliamentary Joint Committee on Corporations and Financial Services is conducting an inquiry into the operation and effectiveness of the Franchising Code of Conduct and has wide terms of reference including the disclosure document and information statement, and the Oil Code of Conduct, in ensuring full disclosure to potential franchisees of all information necessary to make a fully-informed decision when assessing whether to enter a franchise agreement. 

27 Mar 2018 – On Sunday March 25, the Motor Trades Association of Queensland (MTA Queensland), held its first Cars & Coffee event.
