The next-generation LDV MIFA has landed down under.

The people mover will be available in three different trim levels – Mode, Executive, and Luxe – and will be powered by a 2-litre turbocharged petrol engine delivering 160kW and 360Nm via an 8-speed automatic gearbox.

Looking inside, key vehicle data is fed to the driver via a dedicated 7-inch digital display, while additional sound, comfort and vehicle information can be accessed via a 12.3” touchscreen. Also available is a multi-function, leather, heated steering wheel, digital rearview mirror and wireless mobile charging pad.

Depending on the variant, there will be a choice of seven or eight seats including six-way electrically adjustable Captain’s Chairs in the first and second row which can be configured for ease of access.

With fold-out tray tables, footrests, numerous cup and bottle holders and seven USB ports throughout the cabin, passengers can relax in comfort – while choosing from one of the 64 ambient lighting colour choices (on Luxe) and connecting their devices to wired Apple CarPlay.

A suite of advanced safety features is standard across the range, including autonomous emergency braking, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert and traffic sign recognition.

Measuring 5280mm long, 1998mm wide and 1845mm tall, on a 3200mm wheelbase – The MIFA sits 165mm longer overall, 3mm wider, 70mm taller and 110mm longer between the wheels than a Kia Carnival.

The colour palette includes Metal Black, Pearl White, Dynasty Red, Mica Blue and a choice of Concrete Grey with an accented black roof. All are supported with a black leather trim interior colour, and 18in or 19in alloys (on the Executive and Luxe variants).

The all-new LDV MIFA Mode starts from $53,990 RRP, followed by the Executive from $63,990 RRP and Luxe from $72,990 RRP.
