The Motorcycle Clothing Program (MotoCAP), is the world’s first ratings system for motorcycle clothing.

The website, www.motocap.com.au aims to give the motorcycle community more information when making choices about what clothing to wear while riding.

An initiative that will be welcomed by consumers and promoted by all State and Territory road safety authorities; riders who have ‘stepped off’ their motorcycle will testify on the importance of abrasion resistance and seam strength when involved in a motorcycle accident.

MTA Queensland recommends all Queensland Motorcycle Industry Division (QMID) members to become familiar with the ratings of motorcycle clothing you may stock as clothing with poor safety ratings may be difficult to sell.
