2015-2022 Suzuki Vitara Recalled in Australia

Suzuki Australia has recalled 31,766 examples of its Vitara SUV, stamped model years 2015-2022.

According to the recall notices lodged with the Department of Infrastructure, the “vehicles have been supplied with incorrect information in the owner’s manual in regards to the installation of ISOFIX child restraint system.”

“Consumers may incorrectly install the ISOFIX child restraint system, posing a risk of injury or death to the child in the event of an accident,” the notices continued.

Suzuki will be contacting affected owners and will supply the relevant information to insert into the vehicle owner’s manual by registered mail.
