New Suzuki S-Cross Confirmed for Australia

Suzuki Australia has confirmed the all-new S-Cross will find its way to Australia in 2022.

Although final specifications have not been confirmed for Australia, the global launch of the new small SUV revealed that the powertrain will maintain the Suzuki 1.4 litre BoosterJet direct injection turbo engine, coupled with an AllGrip Select 4X4 system.

Design modifications have given the new model a bolder exterior look, and the interior design has been updated too, with plenty of high-tech infotainment and safety features that one would expect from a new vehicle.

There’s a 9-inch touchscreen offering smartphone connectivity, wireless charging, and a 360-view camera, while safety features include Autonomous Emergencu Braking, Lane Departure Warning and Prevention, Weaving Alert, Blind Spot Monitor and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.

“With the launch of the all-new S-Cross and its potential long list of upgraded features and specifications on safety, driver convenience and class leading value, there is no doubt we will continue to increase our presence in the growing SUV market,” said Michael Pachota, Suzuki Australia General Manager.

The new S-Cross is scheduled for launch in 2022, with more details on local specification, features and pricing to be released closer to launch date.
