Pricing Announced For New Mazda BT-50 SP and Entry-Level Models

Mazda has revealed a new entry point to the new Mazda BT-50 range, announcing pricing for 2022 model updates.

The new XS grade opens the range and is powered by a 1.9-litre turbo-diesel with automatic transmission. It generates 110kW and 350Nm. All XS models feature a six-speed automatic transmission.

Equipment includes a comprehensive range of safety and infotainment features including Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go (auto transmission), 7-inch infotainment touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth hands-free telephone and audio, DAB+ digital radio, Rear-seat USB charging point (dual cab models only), Attention Assist, Autonomous Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Monitor, Emergency Lane Keeping, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Departure Prevention, Lane-keep Assist System (automatic transmission only), Locking Rear Differential – switchable on/off (4×4 models), and more.

The new XS grade starts at $38,490 for the 4×2 Single Cab Chassis (ABN buyers). The XS is also available as a 4×2 or 4×4 Dual Cab Pickup, priced at $42,490 and $51,110 respectively.

At the top end, the SP grade starts at $62,990 for the 3.0-litre turbo-diesel equipped 4×4 Dual Cab Pickup in manual and $65,990 for the automatic.

This model introduces the SP badge to Mazda’s utility vehicle for the first time.

Building on the high-spec GT, the SP adds a range of features including Metallic grey roof rails, black grille, satin black 18-inch alloy wheels, black and driftwood leather with synthetic suede interior trim, manually operated black roller tonneau cover, tub liner, and gloss black wheel flares.

The SP is powered by the current 3.0-litre turbocharged diesel four-cylinder engine, producing 140kW and 450Nm. Exclusively available in 4×4 Dual Cab Pickup form, the BT-50 SP comes with a choice of six-speed manual or automatic transmissions.

The BT-50 range is priced from $38,490 for the XS Single Cab Chassis 4×2 up to $68,990 for the Thunder Dual Cab Pickup 4X4.

The new Mazda BT-50 will be available from January 2022.
