MTA Queensland welcomes next generation of automotive professionals for industry tour

MTA Queensland recently welcomed a group of school students from St Andrew’s Anglican College on the Sunshine Coast for a tour of the Sir Jack Brabham Automotive Centre of Excellence as part of an industry tour.

Organised by MTA Queensland Board Chair Paul Peterson and Pro Honda Moorooka, the group of inquisitive students, who all displayed an interest in learning more about the career opportunities available through the automotive retail, service and repair sectors, got to learn about the latest technology, with a focus on the technology related to electric and hybrid vehicles. The students also got to pick the brains of CEO Rod Camm and Deputy GM – Member Services Marcello Riotto during a Q&A session.

MTA Queensland recognises the importance of engaging with schools and students across Queensland for developing career pathways and informing the next generation entering the workforce of the career opportunities available now and for the future.
