Mercedes-Benz has issued a recall for the model year 2018 to 2020 VS30 Sprinter Van due to an error related to the brakes.

5,279 vehicles are affected by the recall.

According to Mercedes-Benz, an issue where the brake hose comes into contact with the back of the fender liner of the front axle may occur while the vehicle is in motion. This can result in the brake hose wearing out and leaking brake fluid, causing increased braking distances.

Mercedes-Benz Australia is currently contacting all affected vehicle owners to organise an inspection and repair.
