COVID-19 control and prevention training now available online

The Australian Government has released an online training tool focusing on infection prevention and control, as the country looks to successfully re-open following the COVID-19 pandemic.

The online training module, which can be completed in just 30 minutes and was developed by Aspen Medical, the Federal Governments trusted COVID-19 training partner, is aimed at informing workers in industries where constant close contact is necessary of their responsibilities for preventing and controlling the spread of the virus.

Included in the module is information covering the following topics:

  • COVID-19 – What is it?
  • Signs and symptoms
  • Keeping safe – protecting yourself and others
  • Myth busting

While this course was designed with health care industry workers in mind, registration for the course is open to anyone, making it an ideal course for any employer looking to safeguard their business from the virus.

With businesses across the automotive industry looking to re-open and resume normal operations post-pandemic, this online training module provides the perfect opportunity to demonstrate that they are taking every measure to ensure customer and employee safety.

Upon completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate of acknowledgement which may be displayed at the business.

By displaying this certificate, businesses can signify to their customers that they are up to date on COVID-19 management and control training and are a COVID-safe workplace, presenting themselves as a trusted business above their competitors during this time.

Businesses can find out more about the COVID-19 infection control training module and register for the course here.
