Bridgestone announced as Australia’s most trusted tyre brand for seventh consecutive year

Bridgestone has been named ‘Australia’s most trusted tyre brand’ for the seventh year in a row in the Reader’s Digest annual most trusted brands award.

With this announcement, Bridgestone is still the only company to have taken out the award since it was introduced in 2014.

The Reader’s Digest most trusted brands award is determined by a survey that is conducted by independent research firm Catalyst, with over 2,500 respondents recorded in 2020.

Reputation, reliability and quality were found to be the key criteria for customers when deciding their vote, all factors Bridgestone prides itself on according to Bridgestone Australia and New Zealand managing director Stephen Roche.

“More than ever, we are seeing how trust is crucial to Australians, and we’re honoured to maintain the trust we’ve earnt with Australian motorists over the past seven years with safe, reliable tyres, great service and meaningful contributions to the community,” said Roche.

Bridgestone has pointed to its corporate social responsibility (CSR) commitments, including a long standing partnership with the Leukaemia Foundation, support for Road Safety Education flagship RYDA program and other community driven activities as a driving factor for their trusted community image.

Reader’s Digest Australian editor-in-chief Louise Waterson said all winning businesses should be credited on their achievement, especially during these incredibly difficult times.

“This is an unprecedented time in history right now and trust has never been more tested in our community. Consumers have turned to those trusted and familiar brands to protect themselves and their families,” said Waterson.
