Bugatti unveils the limited edition Centodieci
How exclusive do you want your car to be?
How about this one – the Bugatti Centodieci, a new special edition monster from Bugatti that will be limited to just 10 units and is a nod to the iconic EB110 mid-engine sports car created by the company in the mid-1990s as well as to the company’s 110-year anniversary.
The Centodieci features the 8.0-litre W16 engine with 1,176 kW/1,600 hp at 7,000 rpm. Sprint times are an astonishing 0 to 100 km/h in 2.4 seconds, to 200 km/h in 6.1 seconds and to 300 km/h in 13.1 seconds. Top speed is electronically cut off at 380 km/h.
Compared to the Bugatti Chiron 1, the Centodieci saves 20kg of unladen weight. Among other things, lightweight windscreen wiper and stabilisers made of carbon are used. This lightweight enables a power-to-weight ratio of 1.13kg per horsepower.
The limited series will be delivered in two years and carries a price of an eye-watering €8 million plus tax (that’s $AU13 million!). Sadly, you’ll have to put your wallet away as the 10 units have already been bought.
