As part of this project, MTA Queensland will establish a trusted digital advisory service for its members as the representative for the automotive industry. Through this service, small business owners will receive access to information on how current and future technological trends and adaptions in the automotive industry will impact their business. Advice and lessons on how to use digital technology to optimise business in the automotive industry will also be offeredThe service will be provided at no cost, with the goal of assisting members to become more digitally effective, competitive and ultimately more profitable.

MTA Queensland have already proven to be proactive in helping members adapt to the changing role of technology in business, having recently assisted Helen, owner of long-time member Carline Enoggera build a new website that was more in line with their business’s needs.

With MTA Queensland’s support I was able to take control of digital marketing and the businesses website,” said Helen.

“I have had no previous training or knowledge of how to run a website, but through MTA Queensland’s instructions, I can see the benefits of having our website built in WordPress.”

MTA Queensland also helped Helen build the business’s social media presence in order and provided a series of training sessions on how to optimize social media for business.

“It’s certainly a learning process which will become easier with time, but MTA Queensland has given me the ability and confidence to start the process and begin managing Carline Enoggera’s social media accounts.”

As a Small Business Digital Champion, MTA Queensland looks forward to providing further education and resources so that small businesses can digitize their business practices just like Helen did.
