MTA Queensland’s Ten Member Values

The Motor Trades Association of Queensland (MTA Queensland) is the peak body representing the interests of employers in the retail, service and repair sectors of Queensland’s automotive industry.

Through advocacy and consultation, MTA Queensland works closely with governments both state and federal, and other decision-makers, to shape policy development and ensure positive outcomes for the industry. MTA Queensland has been performing its vital representative role for the automotive industry since 1929.

Our vision is to be Queensland’s most trusted, influential and engaged industry peak body.

In past years, MTA Queensland members have made ten commitments to the Professional Circle as part of their membership. While the Professional Circle remains integral to our organisation and underpins what we do, we will no longer use terminology referring to the ‘ten commitments’ and members will instead pledge their commitment to the ten member values. We believe these member values reflect a contemporary expectation of business operators in the automotive industry.

The MTA Queensland branding, through membership, aims to communicate to consumers that the business is:

These member values align with MTA Queensland’s 2019-21 Strategic Plan and are values that consumers’ seek when engaging business.
