MTAQ Cars & Coffee Returns

The MTA Queensland Cars & Coffee event returned at the end May, and a bumper number of classic and exotic cars and visitors turned up at the association’s head office to enjoy the early morning sunshine, a chat with like-minded enthusiasts, some excellent coffee and grub, and all while raising money for the Youngcare charity.

Now a regular stop on the calendar for the Carstyle Crew motoring club, the gathering was not short on extraordinary supercars with McLarens, Ferraris, Lambos and Porsches all in attendance, including a McLaren 720S Coupe, a Lamborghini Gallardo Coupe, and a 2014 Porsche 911 Coupe amongst many others.

Also along for the ride were the crew from vehicle modification company Vogue Industries, who brought with them some astonishing vehicles, including an incredible, modified 2017 Landcruiser and an awesome purple Lamborghini Huracan.

However, it wasn’t all about the exotic supercars. there was plenty of classic metal on display, including a 1973 Pontiac Firebird Coupe, a 1968 Holden Monaro, a 1968 Chevy Malibu Coupe and a stunning 1965 K-code Mustang – a truly rare treat. Also in the mix was the ACE-EV Cargo, an all-electric van that had been assembled at MTA Queensland workshop.

Now run on the last Sunday of every third month, the MTA Queensland Cars & Coffee will return in August and, if May’s gathering is anything to go by, it will be even bigger. If you’re into your cars, it’s the place to be.

See you there!
