MTAQ Raising Awareness of Domestic and Family Violence

The Motor Trades Association of Queensland (MTA Queensland) is proud to be raising awareness of domestic and family violence for Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Month May 2019.

As part of the campaign, the Queensland Government is reigniting the Not Now, Not Ever challenge, designed to raise awareness and encourage participation during the Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Month.

Businesses and Individuals can raise awareness in the month of May by:

  • Considering how you can incorporate the Not Now, Not Ever messages into your workplace.
  • Download and display FREE resources.
  • Distributing information brochures and help cards to staff
  • Referring to the Queensland Government’s website to take up the Not Now, Not Ever challenge.

A major forum will be held later this year to provide learning opportunities and help support those who are committed to putting an end to domestic and family violence.

Follow the conversation on social media at #notnownotever #endDV or #DVPreventionMonth.

MTA Queensland acknowledges the traditional owners of the land on which we live and work- the Yugambeh and Yuggera people. We pay our respects to elders past, present and emerging. In the spirit of reconciliation, we will continue to work with traditional custodians to support the health and wellbeing of community.
