Ride your Motorcycle to Work Week | Oct 22-26 2018

The second national Ride Your Motorcycle to Work Week is fast approaching, running from 22nd to 26th of October, 2018.

The week long event encourages commuters to bring fun to their daily commute with the overarching initiative aiming to ensure motorcycles are properly maintained and prepared for the summer riding season.

The concentrated week of two-wheeled commuting also provides visibility in numbers for one of the highest-risk road user groups, drawing public attention to rider safety.

TM ambassador and newly minted Cross Country Rallies World Champion Toby Price said the event was about getting bikes out of garages and on the road.

“We just want people to ride more! There is always a big grin hidden under my helmet when I am riding or racing. Riding cuts congestion and commute times and makes parking easy, but it also makes you happy. In a world of constant distractions, motorcycles demand total focus. Riding clears your mind, cuts stress and gives you back control of your day.”

Ride Your Motorcycle to Work Week is an initiative of the Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries, supported by Aprilia, BMW Motorrad, Can-AM BRP, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Husqvarna, Indian Motorcycles, Kawasaki, KTM, Moto Guzzi, Piaggio, Suzuki, Triumph, Vespa and Yamaha.
