OPERATIVE DATES of 1.75% wage increase to Awards commonly used by MTAQ members:

Clerks-Private Sector Award 2020 -First full pay period on or after 1st November 2020
Miscellaneous Workers Award 2020 – First full pay period on or after 1st November 2020
Vehicle Repair Services and Retail Award 2020 – First full pay period on or after 1st February 2021

The Adult Minimum Wage has been increased by $13 per week to $753.80 per week, $19.84 per hour and will apply according to each of the Awards staggered operative dates.

The Updated 2020-2021 MTAQ Wages Guide is to be updated closer to the Operative Dates of wage increases in each of the Awards soon to be released.
